Doug utilizes his empathy and 37 years of business experience to do peer-to-peer advising to Founders and CEOs so they can thrive.

Doug is a global minded, senior executive who has a legacy of successfully transforming and growing a wide variety of businesses. He has inspired teams around the world, expertly performed numerous functional roles and has served as Chairman of a diverse set of boards and joint ventures.

Doug is most known for his emotional intelligence, teaming and coaching skills. His insights and genuine concern for others have resulted in strong, trusting relationships that have added compelling value from the board room to the shop floor.

Doug had the privilege of serving his entire 37 year career at Cargill, the world’s largest privately owned company. After graduating from Coe College, where he earned degrees in Economics and Accounting, he entered Cargill’s Management Program as an Accountant in 1978.

His leadership agility was developed and enhanced through 12 geographic moves, including a combined 8 years living and working in Wagga Wagga, Australia and Bangkok, Thailand where he was Chairman of Cargill Siam and Country Manager for all of Cargill’s businesses in Thailand and Vietnam.

Doug has had oversight and successfully led 12 different businesses operating in over 20 countries. He has a proven track record working in accounting, futures/options trading, risk management, sales, plant operations, Chairman of Cargill Siam, and President of Cargill’s global malting business unit. His experience includes start-ups, turnarounds, transformations, acquisitions, joint ventures, and complex board leadership roles.
